Shi Sen is a Chinese Restaurant which serves Sichuan cuisine. This style of food originates from Sichuan Province in China, and is characterized by the bold hot and spicy flavors added to the food by the chefs. The most common spices used are fennel, chili pepper, aniseed, cinnamon, and Sichuan pepper. They are commonly known as "The Five Fragrances." The food at Shi Sen lived up to its reputation. I started my meal by ordering Shaoxing Rice Wine which can be served either hot or cold. This rice wine is very strong but very delicious. I ordered the spicy stir fried chicken, beef miso with steamed bread, and crab tofu. Each dish was mouth-watering and succulent. For dessert I ordered the mango pudding which was absolutely heavenly.
