I love the food shopping areas in the department stores. The hustle and bustle of shoppers and vendors is truly awesome. The hundreds of varieties of food dishes is truly a marvel to behold. The gourmet section alone is worth the effort to check out. And they look very appetizing. If you are a tired traveler and you want to try Japanese food, then I recommend stopping by one of the big department stores like the Hankyu Department Store in Takarazuka. They have a wide assortment of Japanese dishes and take out menus. They have sushi, sliced meats, a wonderful assortment of salads, boxed lunch sets, amazing desserts, breads, sake, and seafood. In addition, there is a grocery section which carries vegetables, fruits, and other grocery store items.
