IKEA is a familiar name throughout Japan and around the world. Most people associate IKEA with the home furniture business. However, IKEA also has restaurants which offer traditional style Swedish food as well as cross-cultural food depending on location. The IKEA restaurant in Port Island resembles a cafeteria, but it is very spacious, clean, and bright. Patrons get a cart, stand in line, and choose from a wide selection of wines, beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items; place them on their trays and go to the checkout counter. Their are many different food and drink choices to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable. IKEA also has vegetarian food. I recommend the all-you-can-drink option because you can refill downstairs on the first floor at the Swedish Food Market.
